my Story
Dakarai, also known as Daiquiri, Bacardi, and many other alcoholic beverages. Dakarai hails from Annapolis Maryland, the land of vineyard vines, crabs, and preppy people on sailboats - he doesn’t enjoy any of these things. A 70-year old man from birth, Dakarai appreciated saftey and security but then the THEATRE came into his life.
The story goes on
Dakarai threw all of his ideals out of the window in exchange for a life as an ARTIST. Not that there were’t some detours along the way. At the end of high school, Dakarai was faced with the existential crisis of either going into cosmetic surgery where he could have healed the faces of people disfigured in tragic accidents and going into the theatre. Well, we know how that ended up. Dakarai followed this path straight into being a BFA Musical Theatre major at Ithaca College, where he will complete his degree in May of 2020.
